In a game with a character creation, that actually deserves to be called such, MOST people (especially this being an RPG) want to see their creation, show off their creation when they stream, and see their creation react to other characters, and the environment. CP was originally going to be in 3p, or both but then this changed. They should just say, due to technical limitations. In other words, if you're just looking to enjoy the stories of Night City without worrying too much about combat, then the game should have you covered. Previously, the studio confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will indeed have difficulty options similar to The Witcher 3, ranging from easy all the way to very hard. Speaking to Wccftech, CD Projekt Red's Alvin Liu explains the developer's thinking on the subject: "If you want to play more casually for the story and maybe you’re not experienced with shooters, which was a real big concern for us we want to tell a story and maybe you’re a big fan of The Witcher and you’re not comfortable playing a shooter, we have settings available for that." The studio knows that if you primarily play third-person action adventures or role-playing games, then you might have trouble getting to grips with something like Cyberpunk 2077, and because of that, it's included a number of difficulty settings. Not everyone gets along with first-person shooters, and Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red seems to be aware of this.
